Terms & house rules

The short version: you buy your membership here on the site, we activate it in Wodify, and you book your classes in the Wodify app. Terms of 3 months and longer are paid in full at the start, nothing renews automatically, and in the box we all look after the place and after each other. The long version follows.

These terms and house rules apply to every membership, class pack, drop-in and free trial class you book on this website. We have written them in plain language on purpose. If something is unclear, just ask us – we would much rather talk it through than argue about it.

1. Who you are signing up with

CF 1352 GmbH
1352 Athletics · CrossFit 1352
Riedstrasse 10
6330 Cham ZG
Switzerland

UID CHE-421.992.451, commercial register office Zug, managing director Timo Hofstetter. You reach us at hello@crossfit1352.ch or on WhatsApp at +41 79 555 45 15. All legal details are in the Impressum.

2. Buying a membership

You buy your membership right here on the website. The payment is handled by Stripe – card, TWINT, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.

As soon as the payment is through, your membership is created in Wodify and you get a confirmation email. From then on you book every class in the Wodify app. If something goes wrong on the technical side, we activate your membership by hand – normally within 24 hours – and you do not have to do anything.

Which memberships exist, what they include and what they cost is listed on the memberships page. Prices are in Swiss francs and include VAT.

3. Terms, payment and renewal

Terms of 3 months and longer are paid in full at the start. The 1-month plan is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Nothing renews automatically. When your term ends, it simply ends – no notice period, no cancellation letter, no surprise charge. If you want to carry on, you buy your next membership on the site whenever it suits you.

4. Pausing for holidays or an injury

Longer terms can be paused:

  • 12-month membership: up to 4 weeks of holiday per year
  • 6-month membership: up to 2 weeks of holiday per year
  • 1- and 3-month memberships and class packs: no holiday pause
  • Injury with a doctor's note: a pause is possible with any term

Send us your pause request by email to hello@crossfit1352.ch with the dates, ideally before the pause starts. We confirm every pause by email, so you always have it in writing.

5. Class packs and drop-ins

A 10- or 20-class pack, the MamiFit® packs and the Kids & Teens pass work class by class: every class you book uses one entry of the pack.

Would you like to know how many classes you have left or how long your pack is valid? Ask your coach in the studio or write to hello@crossfit1352.ch – we will tell you exactly where you stand.

A drop-in is a single class: you book it for one specific class on the schedule.

6. Booking and cancelling classes

Every class is booked in the Wodify app. A class runs 60 minutes with a maximum of 12 people – so a spot you keep but do not use is a spot nobody else could take.

If you cannot make it, please cancel your booking in the app as early as you can. The deadline up to which a class can be cancelled is shown for each class in the Wodify app; if you are not sure, ask your coach.

7. Your free trial class

The trial class is free and is meant for people who do not have a 1352 membership yet – one per person. If you already have an account with us, book your class in the Wodify app instead.

Please be there 10 minutes early: we show you around and you sign the liability waiver on site before your first class. Bring sports clothes, clean indoor shoes and a water bottle.

Something came up? Cancel with the link in your confirmation email, so somebody else can take your spot.

8. Kids & Teens

For MuKi, Kids Fitness and CrossFit Teens a parent or legal guardian buys the pass and is our contract partner. That is why the checkout asks for the child's name and date of birth together with the parent's own details. Children train in the class under the supervision of our coaches; before and after the class, and everywhere outside the training area, they stay the responsibility of their parents.

9. House rules

Nothing surprising here – just the things that keep a busy box running:

  • Clean indoor shoes on the training floor.
  • Wipe down the equipment you have used.
  • Put weights, bars and kettlebells back where you found them.
  • Be on time – classes start on the minute.
  • Follow the coach's instructions; the coach is responsible for the class.
  • Kids stay in the areas the coach allows.
  • Treat the people around you the way you would like to be treated.

10. Health and training at your own risk

You train at your own risk. Please tell your coach before the class about injuries, pregnancy, a recent operation or any health issue that could matter. Everything we do can be scaled – but only if we know about it.

Coaches may scale an exercise, change it or stop it if it is not safe for you on that day. That is not us being difficult, that is the job. If you are not sure whether you are fit to train, please ask your doctor first.

11. Cancellation, refunds and health insurance

Swiss law gives no general right of return for services bought online, and a membership that has already started is not refunded.

That said: we are a gym, not a law firm. If something real happens – you move away from the region, or a long illness keeps you out with a doctor's note – get in touch with us. We will find a fair solution, as we have done many times before.

Many Swiss health insurers pay part of your membership: we are QualiCert-certified. You find the details on the memberships page.

12. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms and house rules; the version published on this page is always the one that applies. For memberships that are already running we will not change the rules to your disadvantage.

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zug.
